A pro/con comparison of Euro nymphing and indicator nymphing

I want to give a quick thanks to all of you who read this blog and who have supported Tactical Fly Fisher with your orders. It has been a whirlwind of work and excitement since we released Modern Nymphing. Some big things are coming out of it in the future that I'll keep you apprised of here as the months roll on and things develop. In the meantime I'm pretty slammed and I may not be posting on the blog as regularly as I'd like but I'll do my best to keep up some fairly regular content. I certainly have a long list of topics I need to get to.

For this blog entry, I'm actually going to direct you over to the fly fishing mega-blog Gink and Gasoline. Louis Cahill and the crew were kind enough to let me write an article for them that appeared yesterday (Jan 30, 2017). It is a comparison of the pros and cons of Euro nymphing and strike indicator/suspension nymphing. I hope you'll give it a read and it will spur some thinking about which technique is best for your local water next time you're there with rod in hand. Click on this link to read it.
