YouTube Video: Sight Fishing, Sink Rate, and Sipping Trout

A couple weeks ago Connor and I fished a small stream in hopes of a good baetis hatch. While the hatch and the rising fish was more intermittent than we were hoping for, the sight nymphing was a fun challenge. One key element to success was picking the right style of fly for its sink rate as well as its general appearance. Hopefully the tips we share will help you be more successful at picking your own patterns next time you're on the river.
