Troutline Catgut Biothread

Troutline Catgut Biothread is based on collagen specially treated to resist water. The material looks semi-translucent when it gets wet and is perfectly suited for micro nymphs and wet flies too.

The material is stiff.  When you work with you should keep the material for 3-5min in warm water (only the part that you want to use). The color will change from the opaque to milky transparent.

It can be used with different threads in different colors for varied shades in the under body.

It is a magic material and is absolutely fabulous for making nymph and emergers bodies.
